Historic Hills 250th Celebration in Eldon

The Iowa Department of Transportation has selected the Historic Hills Scenic Byway as one of six locations in Iowa to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary. This has grown into a two-day event! Sunday events are open to the public. Monday's tour requires registration to cover the cost of lunch. We hope you will join us for this special celebration!

Eldon's tour includes seeing the interior of the iconic American Gothic House, Eldon Depot Museum, and McHaffey Opera House. Be sure to preregister!
