Book Talk and Music at the American Gothic House Center

Meet Kee Kee Buckley—author, filmmaker, on-camera personality, keynote speaker, and rock band manager.

Kee Kee is the author of the forthcoming memoir Seeking Shama: Me, My Dog, and the Road to Inner Peace. From being adopted by a curandera in Arkansas to falling in and out of love in Texas to living in Iowa’s iconic American Gothic House with Ms. American Pie, Kee Kee’s search for shama—Sanskrit for inner peace—unfolds in magical, messy, and deeply human ways. Kee Kee and her equally famous husband, Eric Troyer, will be part of Eldon's Holiday Hop events at the American Gothic House Center. They will be available for book signing, talks about the book, and music from 11 am until 2 pm on Saturday, December 6th. Children's event in the American Gothic House will follow.

Admission to the Center will not be charged on this day due to our special speaker, musician, and children’s activity. Costumes will not be available all day.
