CONTEST RULES
$10.00 Registration fee includes: Event & contest entry. There will be drink specials, entry into door prize raffles. Noon packer game! $5.00 a bowl to taste and judge. 100% payback and trophy for 1st place.
1. Contestants must sign-in at the registration upon arrival. Chili/Soup drop-off: 11:00 – 11:25 a.m.
2. Chili/Soup must be prepared in advance.
3. Chili/Soup must be warm upon arrival. Please note, we will not heat up cold chili/soup.
4. Contestants must prepare between 3-5 quarts of chili.
5. All ingredients are OK to use, no restrictions. If you are using ingredients people may be allergic to, please make signs to be posted at your station.
6. Straight Home will provide common condiments such as: oyster crackers, shredded cheese, diced onions and sour cream.
7. Eating utensils such as: bowls, spoons and napkins will be provided.
8. Specialty condiments/toppings are NOT allowed for judging. Eg: No corn bread, sour cream, etc… There is no room on the tables for extra condiments/toppings/sides.
9. Patrons will pay $5 a bowl to taste and will be give a voting sheet. No signage, handouts, recipe cards are to be displayed or provided to any of the judges.
10. Contestants are responsible for the clean-up of their station.
