Owl Mine Exploration Hike

The Owl Mine hike in El Paso is a moderate, roughly 3 mile, adventure offering unique, historic mining remnants within the Franklin Mountains.

Starting at Franklin Hills Park/Westside, this trail features scenic arroyos and rewarding, rustic views of the city.

Bring ten essentials, water, snacks, shade and grippy or hiking shoes for the rugged on and offtrail experience.

Meet at Franklin Hills Park by 7:45am and hike will start at 8am promptly. Please allow yourself time to arrive and get situated constantly at 8am.

Teen and park pass holders $0 all others $5 park permit fee.
