MASTER CLASS with Levi Hernandez, baritone

MASTER CLASS: How are operatic vocal techniques and performance practices passed along from generation to generation? Through private study and master classes with experts. Join us for a peek at the process of classical voice study and performance when Levi Hernandez, international opera star, coaches a handful of Opera UTEP students in a free, public master class on Sunday, September 21, 2:30 PM. Featuring Dr. Esequiel Meza, Jr., piano.

This is the first in a series of guest artist classes coordinated by El Paso Opera and Opera UTEP.

Location: Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus of The University of Texas at El Paso

ABOUT OUR GUEST ARTIST:
Baritone Levi Hernandez, an El Paso native, has joined the rosters of leading opera companies, including the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera Theater of St. Louis, and Houston Grand Opera. Mr. Hernandez stars in El Paso Opera’s 2026 production of La Bohème at St. Rogers Depot.
