Whether you’re lacing up skates for the first time or getting back into the groove, El Paso Roller Derby, Nations Tobin and El Paso Parks & Recreation are teaming up to bring you a fun, supportive, and inclusive skating experience for all ages and skill levels!
⭐ What to Expect
Join us for an evening of hands-on learning, guided practice, and open skating—perfect for individuals and families looking to build confidence on wheels.
What You’ll Need:
🛼 Quad or inline skates
⛑️ Helmet
🖐️ Wrist guards
🦵 Knee pads
💪 Elbow pads
🛼 Skill-Based Learning Stations (4 PM – 7 PM)
Participants will join one of three beginner-friendly stations led by experienced EPRD skaters, learning different skills, drills, and fun challenges tailored to their starting skill level.
🎶 Free Skate Roller Rink Hour (7 PM – 8 PM)
Lights, music, and an hour of free skating fun to wrap up the night!
🏛 Community Information Booths
Explore resources and programs from local organizations dedicated to health, education, safety, and youth development.
These booths will offer information, activities, and ways to get involved in the community.
📝 Registration & Waivers
All participants will need to complete a Release of Liability & Registration Form for both EPRD and the City of El Paso before participating.
Forms will be available on-site.
