DeafBlind Workshop

Have you ever been interested in working with people who are DeafBlind? This is your chance to check it out! Taught from the perspectives of a DeafBlind consumer and an interpreter with several years' experience in the field, this 3-hour workshop will introduce attendees to the culture of the DeafBlind community, considerations when supporting a DeafBlind consumer as a Support Service Provider (SSP) or CoNavigator (CN), the linguistic diversity within the DeafBlind community, and how all these elements affect the interpreter's role in working with people who are DeafBlind. 🌱
