In Bach’s delightfully charming Coffee Cantata, a spirited young woman named Lieschen simply cannot live without her beloved coffee. Her stern father, Schlendrian, is determined to break her habit—but she cleverly outwits him at every turn. Filled with playful banter, catchy melodies, and a wink at society’s caffeine craze, this mini comic opera brews up a tale of love, rebellion, and the irresistible allure of a good cup of joe!
