Weaving Level 2 (Winter 2026)

Taking our Weave Structures to a New Level:

In this class we will learn new ways of manipulating plain weave and twill structures.

Specifically, we will learn about:

• Overshot
• Double Weave
• Lace Weaves
• Point Twill Derivatives

We will also be learning about weaving patterns, how to read them and how to adjust them based on the size of your loom, different materials, sett and other considerations.

This is a 6 class workshop. The looms will be beamed with warps. Students will be threading based on the new patterns.

Please note that classes are not at the Strathcona Community Hall, they are being held at Traceable Textiles at 11602 95 St NW Edmonton.
