Tournament Format
This event will be played using the Pitched Battles Rules and Battleplans found in the 2025-2026 Generals Handbook. This event will be using Generals handbook 2025-2026 if it is released before the event. In addition, any applicable balance updates, FAQ’s or errata will be used. Event cost will be $60 per team and 16 spots will be available. Food and drinks are not included, but Taps Games has a large selection of drinks and snacks available for purchase and there are several great restaurants within walking distance.
Important Dates
· September 13: Deadline for approval of conversions and cut off for new rules. Any rules released after this day will not be used for this event.
· September 22: Last day for list submission
· September 28: The Event!!!

Sunday
· Registration 8:30 am
· Round 1: 9:00-12:00
· Lunch: 12:00
· Round 2: 1:00-4:00
· Round 3: 4:15-7:15
Army Composition Rules
Players must submit their lists through the Best Coast Parings app. Please ensure that you create an account at least 2 weeks before the event if you do not already have one. Notify Taps Games if the email you are using for Best Coast Pairings is different from the one that you used to register for the event.
Each player will make a 1000 point army built using the Pitched Battles rules found in the General’s Handbook 2025-2026. Armies can be constructed from any Battle Tome and are treated as entirely separate.
· Enhancements and Unique Warscolls cannot be duplicated between the two armies.
· Any buffs from abilities or spells can be applied to your partner’s army, provided they have all of the necessary keywords.
· Each Player will have their own General and will count and the army General for all rules purposes.
· Each player may choose their own manifestation lore, but they cannot choose the same lore as their partner.
· Each Player generates their own command points and can only use their command points on their own models. If their team is the underdog, the bonus command point can be used by either player.
· If both players are using the same battle tome, only models chosen within a specific Battle Formation can benefit from the rules and abilities from that battle formation.
