Chronos Vocal Ensemble's 2025-2026 Season continues with a sacred music program featuring Zoltán Kodály’s Missa Brevis for chorus and organ, with Cathedral organist Jeremy Spurgeon.
This masterpiece of hope, and a plea for peace, was completed during the dark final days of WWII as the composer sheltered in Budapest.
Chronos will also present unaccompanied sacred works including Barber's Agnus Dei and Allegri's Miserere.
Featuring music inspired and framed by the Cathedral setting, this program celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the power of music to transcend darkness.
