Devi Kusumasana, directed by Jayantha Chandrasiri, tells the inspiring story of Kusumasana Devi, a royal raised by the Portuguese, who marries rebel warrior Konappu Bandara—later crowned as King Vimaladharmasuriya. Set in 16th-century Sri Lanka, this film beautifully portrays love, sacrifice, and the struggle for sovereignty against colonial powers.
