Celebrating Black Excellence, Pathways, and Ownership in STEAM
Join us for Innovators in STEAM Edmonton 2026, a community-focused event designed to spotlight Black innovators and professionals in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) while creating meaningful connections between youth, students, and industry leaders.
This event is hosted in collaboration with Africa Centre YEG and delivered through the BEST STEM network, bringing culturally relevant, high-impact STEAM engagement to Edmonton’s Black community and allies.
Innovators in STEAM goes beyond inspiration. The focus is on real career pathways, honest discussion of systemic barriers, leadership development, and how underrepresented communities can move from participation to impact and ownership within STEAM fields.
