Upon completion of this program, the student should be competent in all physical training techniques and have a working knowledge of use of force, the impacts of stress on the body and mind-set required to be successful working in protective services. The certificate issued for successfully attending this course is valid for a one year period from the last day of the course.
Requirements: A current Peace Officer Appointment, Military, Security License OR employed with AGLC qualified (ie. Casino/Bar) required and must be shown to the instructor at the beginning of class.

Your instructor, Sean Carter, has over 38 years of experience in training and development at the Government of Alberta - including serving as Inspector of Law Enforcement Training. Sean led the design of major programs such as the Traffic Sheriffs Program, Investigator Program, and the redesign of the Community and Correctional Peace Officer Programs. He is also a 5th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and a certified Instructor Trainer with Human Factor Research Group - PPCT, Winning Mind Training, and International Instructor for Martial Blade Concepts.
