This is a game where your choices matter — you can talk your way through the entire campaign if you wish, embracing exploration, diplomacy, and clever solutions. But if your group chooses combat, don’t worry — there are swords and spells aplenty.

Playstyle: Relaxed and fun, do the things, save the kobolds, capture the princess, eat the duck.

In our opening sessions, you’ll step into the shoes of a younger version of your character — perhaps a curious child or awkward teenager — when the Witchlight Carnival first visits. You won’t need a character sheet for this part: just bring your imagination and prepare for a little time-travel magic. Then, eight years later, your adult self returns to the carnival and the true game begins.
