CLOSING SPEAKER:
Angelique Leone
Vice President of Community Foundation of Snohomish County
After realizing that Wall Street wasn’t the vibe I wanted more than 3 ½ decades ago, I transitioned to nonprofit work and haven’t regretted it for one day. I’ve been in the marketing, fundraising and CEO positions in arts, human services, health, education and library nonprofits.
Maria Montalvo
Non-Profit Leader, Professional and Leadership Coach, Founder M'AM Consulting, Syndicated Column Writer and Storyteller
Marjie Bowker
Author, Editor, Co-Founder Steep Stairs Press and Teacher the world over
This 45-minute freewriting workshop will focus on empowering women and girls by fostering a supportive environment where participants can share experiences and perspectives and explore ways to promote gender equality through collective support and resource-sharing.
Heather Fitzpatrick CPA, CGMA
Non-profit Leader, Organizer for Save Human Services Campaign, Former President and CEO of Wellspring Family Services
Giving back isn’t just about what you offer—it’s also about what you gain in the process. This session explores how aligning your values, strengths, and season of life with the right kind of volunteer service leads to deeper impact and personal fulfillment.
Diana Oliveros Martinez
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Se Habla Media, Creator and Leader at the Immigration Support Preparedness Group, Career Diplomat
Teresa Wippel
Veteran Journalist and Founder, President and CEO of the My Neighborhood News Group
Teresa Wippel, My Edmonds News CEO and Diana Oliveros, Co-founder of Se Habla Media, will lead a two‑part breakout session, hosting a podcast on how current immigration enforcement practices disproportionately affect migrant women. The first session highlights the effects on women that Se Habla Media and other organizations have documented during 2025. The second session invites participants into a reflective Q&A and group activity connecting personal or community migration stories to collective solidarity.
Marie-Lou Andresen, MD
Yoga and Qigong Instructor
This workshop helps participants explore a question many wellness seekers face: "Which practice is better for me —yoga or qigong?” Rather than offering a single answer, the session compares how each tradition supports physical health, emotional balance, stress reduction, and overall well-being. Participants will also learn and try simple yoga postures, qigong movements, and mindful meditation so they can feel the difference directly. By the end, they will have the clarity to choose the approach that aligns with their needs, whether they are seeking strength, calm, energy flow, or deeper grounding.
Info: Social Hour with appetizers and wine, cider, non-alcoholic beverages
