‘The Miner’s Hymns’ Local Resistance Film Cinema Programme

Our Local Resistance Film Screening Series starts on Monday 1st December at 2pm, with ‘The Miners' Hymns’, by Bill Morrison, (2010).

Music and archive footage are powerfully combined to celebrate the histories of the mining communities of the north east of England.

The screening will be accompanied by a box of miner's archive objects, kindly loaned to us from Prestongrange Museum.
