After a couple months at different venues, Fuzz Bat Gigs returns to Leith Depot with a cracking lineup featuring returning performers: Industrial/ambient gloomy bastard: R Denham and Emotional electronic alt pop maker: Valensteïn as well as the debut of Drony/ambient soundscape merchant: The Lost Past Society.
In reverse running order...
R. Denham: Edinburgh's resident gloomy bastard who melds ambient industrial sound design with glitchy, distorted rhythms to create music that is by turns haunting, frantic and brutal.
"breaking down the boundaries of club music and injecting some sort of new-world Post Rock”

Valensteïn: Lonely electronic alt-pop exploring mental health, sobriety, neurodivergence and more laced with banging europop beats and punk ferocity and vulnerability.
"Valensteïn layers spoken word and powerful vocals over glittery, bouncing synths and strong alt pop melodies."

The Lost Past Society: Drony/ambient electronic soundscapes created using a magic modular synth which are both eerie and beautiful in good balance.
"A kaleidoscope of soundscapes and melodies designed to evoke a feeling of melancholy and nostalgia."
