On a recent visit to Aberdeen for a gig, Yogi came across our guest today who was one of the DJs sharing deck duty with him. After a couple of lovely sets, we felt compelled to book JOSEY, resident DJ at Aberdeen's premier house night The Rhythm. His selection was a wonderfully crafted house set, programmed with great technical ability. Being from Aberdeen, Josey obviously sights Billy Davidson & Jacqui Morrison as big influnces from the local scene, and Moodymann and Terry Farley from further afield. Cutting his DJ teeth over in the paradise land of Dubai on boat parties, Josey got the DJ bug and after a 9 year stint out there, he returned to colder climes and set up The Rhythm with Keith Fowler, which has since grown to become Aberdeen's biggest and best house event. And so Josey has built a large following in Aberdeen, most of whom are coming down to MFSB to support him. MFSB prides itself on booking a lot of great Scottish talent, and we think that Josey is gonna smash MFSB Loons, Quines & Josey out da proverbial park.
