Our conference theme this year is Lifting the Veil. Our theme will explore Samhain, death, dying, ancestors, grief, divination, and the associated deities and psychopomps such as Hekate, Hel, Gywn ap Nudd, and the Valkyries!
A Hybrid Conference
Our conference will again be a hybrid offering for both in-person and virtual attendees. Our hybrid conference style allows Pagans across the whole of Scotland, and beyond, to join us. Some talks will be live-streamed on the day, whilst the talks from the other rooms will be recorded and added to SPF’s website as soon as possible for ticket holders.
Accessibility
The Pleasance is in the heart of Edinburgh and we have ensured that all the spaces we have booked are accessible for our guests. There will be a quiet room at the Conference for anyone to use for quiet contemplation or for if you need space on the day. We will also have volunteers with badges on that you can approach with any questions or if you need a bit of support.
Our SPF Conference Team are committed to ensuring that our conference, and all events and spaces, are as accessible for as many attendees as possible. If you do have additional needs, please tell us – in confidence – at the time of purchasing your tickets, so that we can help you to be able to attend and participate as fully and in as much comfort as possible. SPF will do everything we reasonably can to make adaptations or provide assistance in a sensitive manner. This includes making provision for tickets so that essential companions or assistance dogs can attend – please email us to request this.
