Hunger, Edinburgh Fringe

Hunger is a bold, physical adaptation of Knut Hamsun’s Nobel Prize-winning novel, reimagined for the 21st century by writer-director Roland Reynolds. Through explosive movement, immersive soundscapes, and stripped-back visual storytelling, the show plunges audiences into the broken interior world of a man spiralling out of control. The result is brutal, bleakly funny, and emotionally devastating, a meditation on survival, pride, and madness in an unforgiving world.
