Next month we are meeting on Tuesday 9th December for a conversation with Catherine Simpson and our annual Christmas Quiz.

Her previous memoir One Body was selected for World Book Night in 2023 and shortlisted in Scotland’s Book Awards. This followed her critically acclaimed memoir When I Had a Little Sister (‘superb’ Sunday Times, ‘riveting’ Observer). Her debut novel Truestory won her a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award. Catherine’s work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Scotland.
Catherine is our Quizmaster and there will be book prizes for the winning team.
