Edinburgh Embrace Class and Milonga

Jo-Lee blends her understanding of Tango mechanics and Pilates principles to bring you a workshop with gentle aligning exercises that will prime your body for a connected dance. Join us for this amazing one hour class 7-8pm.
Jo-Lee’s passion for movement began at a young age through dance, and she went on to qualify as a classical ballet teacher in 2012. After an injury, she turned to Pilates for rehabilitation and became a certified instructor in 2014. Jo-Lee started her Pilates career collaborating with physiotherapists for client-specific rehabilitation. She started dancing Argentine tango in 2017, learning both roles. Exploring contact with presence and mutual respect is what inspires her most in tango. Pilates builds core strength, flexibility, and body awareness - the perfect partner to your tango practice!
The class will be followed with our usual relaxed, friendly Milonga. DJ for the evening is music maestro Mike Quickfall!
