Upcoming Workshop Oct. 18 & 19
Excellence is not competition,
Excellence is cooperation
What determines the difference between competition and cooperation?
Answer: Your intentions
If your attentions are focused on high marks, I would consider that competition. If your intentions are purely for the well-being of the horse, I would consider that cooperation. It is not to say that you can't compete and intend to do things only for the good of the horse, but that can be difficult. More often, we go unconscious, meaning not aware of our thoughts and feelings in every situation with our horse. Of course this can happen too during any training situation. When the horse does not meet up to our expectations, we often become angry, frustrated, impatient, just to name a few negative emotions. These negative emotions have an instantaneous detrimental effect on our relationship with our horse. Whereas positive emotions like kindness, patience, and understanding also have an instant effect on our relationship for the better. Quantum physics shows that our thoughts and feelings shape emotions, which become electromagnetic energy that has a profound effect on our surroundings. Everything from your relationship to the horse, to friends, to family to the world, and to the universe are affected because we are all connected by this energy. We truly are one.
Quantum Classical Workshop Oct. 18 and 19
You will learn a repertoire of ground exercises that will create a balanced and light horse. To quote the great French Classical Master, Francois Baucher, "The key to balance and lightness is groundwork." In the realm of quantum physics, you will learn how to create an authentic heart to heart relationship with your horse as you learn to become more conscious, self-aware of your thoughts and feelings. The goal is simply to help the horse reach his potential and feel comfortable with himself both pynsically and mentally. A calm, relaxed horse that wants to communicate with his person and a calm, relaxed person that wants the best for their horse is the goal. No comparisons or judgements but accepting the horse for who he is, as every horse has his own
unique expression.
