Decorative Feather Carving with Laurie McNeil
Laurie will be sharing - Tips for creating realistic feathers. She will bring her current Golden Eagle Bust project and demonstrate the power carving, contouring, sanding of feathers, in preparation for wood burning. During the demo she will discuss feather groupings, layout, structure and characteristics. All things feather really!!!! And for those pyrographically challenged (not wood burners). No worries, these skills transfer for smoothie and working feathered birds as well.
