Homeschool Cooking

This hands-on homeschool cooking class is a 6-class progressive series designed to build real kitchen skills and confidence over time. Students will learn age-appropriate cooking techniques as they move from basic skills like measuring, mixing, and kitchen safety to more advanced tasks such as following multi-step recipes, knife skills, stovetop use, and simple baking.

Sautéed chicken and vegetables with pesto
Homemade pot stickers with dipping sauce
Skillet chicken parmesan
Orange chicken and fried rice
Fresh pasta made from scratch
Pulled taffy and a second dessert

Please let me know ahead of time if there are any allergies so I can modify recipes.

**This is open to age 7+, however this is designed as an intermediate age cooking class so it is an expectation that kids need to follow safety directions and to be able to safely learn to use knives and use real stove top burners. We will cover all those skills and safety but if the child isn't following directions or is a safety risk to themselves or others, they will be removed from the activity. Some kids 7+ are ready to cook, but some aren't quite there yet so please keep their safety in mind when registering.
