This introductory level course is intended for individuals with limited mobility such as those who rely on wheelchairs for daily activities as well as their companions to explore considerations regarding self-defense situations including concealed carrying and later move up to vehicle and home defense.

Safe firearm handling and range protocols
Understanding pistol parts, function, and ammunition basics
Pistol carrying options, including concealed-carry and defeating concealment
Grip, stance, and shooting fundamentals adapted for wheelchair use
Drawing from the holster and engaging targets from a seated position
Reloading techniques and malfunction clearing
Strategies for safe firearm use in real-world scenarios with home defense topics such as clearing structures with limited mobility
