The Rough Draft Reading Series

The Chippewa Valley Writers Guild is thrilled to announce the return of the Rough Draft Reading Series, an open mic designed to celebrate new work and support writers at every stage of the creative process.

The next Rough Draft Reading will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Social hour begins at 6:30 and the readings will begin at 7:00 p.m. at 2 Roots Art & Wine Gallery in Eau Claire. The evening will be hosted by Pam Anderson.
Writers are encouraged to bring a few minutes of new poems, fiction, or nonfiction to read aloud. No prior registration is required, and audience members are warmly welcomed.
