The petition to turn our Town into a Village has been officially accepted by the state, and the 180-day review process has now begun.
The state will hold an official Public Hearing in the near future as part of its review. This event is for the critical Town Board meeting happening in December.
Why This Meeting is So Important:
This is our first and best opportunity to hear our own Town Board's plans and strategies regarding the incorporation. By attending, we accomplish three crucial things:
We Get Informed: We hear their discussions firsthand.
We Ask Questions: We can understand their position on this historic change.
We Show Our Strength: Our presence sends a powerful, visible message that the Washington Hills Alliance is organized, engaged, and united in protecting our community's future.
