Something suspicious has happened in Eau Claire… rumor has it that someone sabotaged the aid station! 🕵️♀️ Runners, detectives, and problem-solvers are needed to crack the case.
Just like the board game Clue, you’ll be running (or walking) to different checkpoints around town. Each spot is a “room” where you’ll uncover clues to figure out who did it, with what, and where.
🏃 How It Works:
• Start as a team or run solo.
• Stop at checkpoints along the route (parks, corners, or schools).
• At each checkpoint, grab a clue card or complete a quick challenge (think: squats, riddles, silly moves).
• Eliminate suspects, weapons, and rooms as you go.
🔎 The Mystery:
• Suspects: Local runner-inspired characters (Speedy Scarlet, Jogger Green, Coach Mustard…).
• Weapons: Running gear gone wrong (hydration belt, foam roller, energy gel, lost sock…).
• Rooms: Eau Claire favorites (North High track, Carson Park, the airport neighborhood, Galaxy Drive…).
🕵️ Winning the Case:
At the finish line, teams make their accusations. Who sabotaged the aid station? With what? And where? The hidden envelope is revealed, and the first correct guess wins eternal bragging rights (and maybe a Clue-themed prize).
