Why Lutheran?

As we approach the time of year when we prepare to celebrate Reformation Day and Reformation Sunday, we Lutheran Christians find an opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with our tradition and ask the questions:

What is a Lutheran?
Why am I a Lutheran?
What does the Lutheran way have to offer the Church and the world?

On Wednesday evenings this Fall the congregations of our Shared Ministry will offer opportunities – in learning, conversation, and reflection – to think about these questions and what it means to be followers of Jesus in the Lutheran tradition.
