2025 Easton Area USBC Youth Open Rules
1. Eligibility: Tournament is open to all USBC Youth Bowlers
A: All entries and competition in this tournament will follow all USBC Rules.
B: All youth bowlers must be a current member of USBC for the 2025-2026 season.
Membership will be available to purchase the day of the event.
2. Event: A Scratch Bowling Tournament for All Skill Levels!
With multiple divisions based on skill level, you'll bowl against others with similar experience, making it fair and fun for everyone! Each bowler will bowl 3 games for each event. Each event can be bowled at any available squad time.
Note: When bowling Doubles and Trios, Divisions are based on combined averages.

3. Entry:
A: Entry fee is $30 per bowler per event. $10 for lineage, $17 for the scholarship, $2 for expenses, and $1 Donation for EABA Youth Scholarship fund.
B: All Events entry fee is $5 per bowler. All-events must be paid for prior to the first event bowled.

D: Walk in entries/Re-entries will be accepted based on availability. All walk in/re-entries will close 30 mins prior to the start of the squad.
E: Re-Entries: Only 1 re-entries per event.
F: Payment: Paypal (Friends or Family - No Fees)

2 weeks prior to the tournament, or cash the day of the tournament.
4. Averages:
A: Highest 2024-2025 USBC average from the previous winter or summer season will be used with a minimum of 21 games or more, or a verifiable 2025-2026 USBC average of 21 games or more with proof.
B: If no verifiable average, bowlers will bowl scratch. A 220 will be assigned.
C: USBC Rule 319a 2 - 10 pin rule will apply.
D: It will be each bowler responsible to verify their averages in accordance with USBC rule 319a 3. Failure to use a proper average or make corrections by the end of the first game, will result in disqualification from this tournament if the submitted average is lower than the current average. If the submitted average is higher that average will be used.
5. Scholarship:
A: All scholarship awards will be 100% returned in the form of SMART scholarship.
B: Only those entrants into the all events qualify for the all events scholarship fund.
C: To place more than once, Trios must have at least 1 different partner and Doubles must have different partners
D. Singles can only place once.
E: Scholarship Payout Ratio will be 1:5 based on the number of entries in each division.
F: In the event of a tie in any event a co-champion will be declared.
6. Conduct and Dress Code:
A. Improper Conduct will result in disqualification from this tournament.
B. No Electronic devices may be worn during competition. (ex: Headphones or Earbuds)
C: Dress Code: All clothing must have no holes or tears. All clothing shall cover all undergarments appropriately, no midriffs, low cut or revealing clothing is allowed. All T-shirts and collared shirts must have sleeves. Full length pants, capris, skirts, skorts and shorts are permitted. All skirts, skorts or shorts must be no shorter than 3 inches above the knees. NO hats of any kind. The Tournament Director will have final say.
