THE February Half-Tern Cup runs from February 16-20 at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.
Daily cost is £10. Experienced players and complete beginners catered for. No dress code. No pre-registration. Non-members welcome. Full-sized and junior cues can be provided. Hours are 11am-3pm with free practice from 10.30am.
As well as a small daily prize, there are trophies for the overall winner, runner-up and third place.
Beginners work with WPBSA snooker coach Tim Dunkley until they are ready to play proper frames.
All activities are handicapped to produce a level playing field.
The club has excellent WiFi so parents who can work remotely are welcome to work in the bar area.

Thursday February 19: Cricket and snooker
Friday: February 20: Snooker all day
This school-holiday competition is generally our busiest one of the six annual events. The above programme is subject to change if the number of attendees is more than twice the number of available tables.
