Step into the holiday spirit and join us for a delightful session making classic cloved orange pomander balls. These beautiful, aromatic decorations have been a beloved tradition for centuries, filling homes with the quintessential scent of the season!
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the simple art of studding a fresh orange completely with whole cloves, creating a stunning, textural, and fully cloved sphere. We'll show you the best techniques for pattern design, how to properly secure your cloves, and the secret to dusting your pomander with a special blend of spices (like cinnamon, nutmeg, and orris root powder) that helps to cure the orange and intensify its captivating aroma for weeks, or even months!
Your finished pomander can be displayed in a bowl, hung on your tree or mantel, or gifted as a truly unique and heartfelt holiday present. All materials, including fresh oranges, plenty of whole cloves, ribbons for hanging, and the custom spice blend, will be provided.
