Fall Birds

Fall is a transitional season, and in the bird world, some birds are migrating south from our valley to their wintering grounds, while others may be moving here from more northerly areas for all or part of the winter. Many birds molt during this time and look different without their bright, spring breeding feathers. Join us as we watch the progression of fall birds from early October to mid-November. Each week we will be outdoors visiting different habitats at Arcadia. We will move the program indoors for inclement weather.

This 4-part program takes place on Saturday, October 4, 18 & November 8 & 22.
