Hi Holiday Elves!
I would like to invite you all to be part of the 7th Annual Stocking Stuffing event to support kids and families in need in our community by providing filled stockings/boxes to families who need extra support to provide these gifts for their loved ones. The Tree House (which is the home of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Walworth County Child Advocacy Center) is the name of the organization I have partnered with for the 7th year in a row.
We will continue with the theme of creating a "Family Experience" Christmas Eve Box. A fun-filled box with items to wind down before bed the night before Christmas. Items to inspire include: hot cocoa, Christmas/holiday story book, fuzzy socks, movie night items (popcorn & candy), arts & crafts, reindeer food, board games, small hand-eye games, pop its, card games.
THANK YOU all so much for helping with this mission to help these kids and families in need, your generosity means a lot!
Our highest priority is the stockings/boxes for families, there are 91 families/252 children registered ages ranging from infant to 17 years old/ 65+ families.
How do families in need sign up for their children to receive gifts?
Holiday Elves is a referral-based program open to children ages 0-17 in Walworth County. If a child or family is receiving services at the Walworth County Child Advocacy Center or Child & Family Counseling Center located in the Tree House facility, if a family is participating in a Tree House prevention-based program, or if a child/family is working with a nonprofit community partner that can confirm need, the family is eligible for our Holiday Elves Program. Please reach out and I will connect your directly with my contact.
Other ways to give are comfort care items. These are used year round when a child is removed from the home by child services and include essentials like body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes etc.

With the growing need in our community — and the incredible outpouring of support from those eager to help — we’ll be keeping a portion of the comfort care items right here within the East Troy School District.
In addition, I would like to donate a portion of comfort care items and help keep essential household supplies stocked at the East Troy Family Community Resource Center. Their top requested items include:
🧻 Paper goods
🧺 Laundry soap
🍽️ Dish soap
🧴 Clorox wipes
đź’› Lastly, we are collecting diapers (size 2 and up) for a local family. As many of you may have heard, the Burman family recently suffered a tremendous loss. Monica Burman passed away unexpectedly after giving birth to their newborn son. This heartbreaking loss has deeply impacted her family, who are now facing unimaginable challenges as they adjust to life without her.
Your kindness, donations, and continued support truly make a difference. Thank you for helping us lift up our neighbors this holiday season. ❤️
