Water Safety/Basic Swimming Education Class

This Registration is for our inaugural “Water Safety/Basic Swimming Education” class. ALL AGES AND ABILITIES ARE WELCOME! The time of this class is 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., but we highly suggest you arrive at the Hannah Community Center located at 819 Abbot Road in East Lansing promptly at 8 a.m. (when the doors open). This class is limited to 9 participants, and we will have 1 instructor to 3 participants. When registering, please just register the participant. If possible, please arrive in your bathing suit. We recommend a towel, change of clothes, goggles, U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket (if desired). No adult sizes are available to borrow and there are very limited quantities of children’s sizes available). Parents/caregivers must remain in attendance during the duration of this event. If your participant is more comfortable having a parent/caregiver, sibling, etc. in the water with them, that is fine!
