Architecture of the Upper Peninsula

Please join us for a visual tour of the architecture of the Upper Peninsula, from historic landmarks to hidden architectural gems. Josh Lipnik, a Detroit-based photographer, speaker, and writer will present a slideshow and give a talk, sharing his photography and archival images. This event is free of cost and open to the public.

Josh Lipnik runs the popular social media account Midwest Modern, documenting the architecture and built environment of his home state of Michigan and the greater Midwest. His photos and writing have been featured in publications including the Chicago Reader, Belt Magazine, and the Financial Times.
