with Author and Teacher, Rick Ohler
1-day workshop
October 19th from 9:00am-4:30pm
Making time to write that story, memoir, essay or poem that has been simmering on the back burner can be difficult in a busy life. What if you had a day in a quiet, stimulating space where the only thing on your docket was writing? Spend some time on the historic Roycroft Campus summoning the Muses, writing and, if you choose, sharing with some kindred spirits. We’ll begin with some warm-ups and directed exercises, then give you plenty of time to write. Work on a project you have underway or let me help you plan one.
Students should bring whatever materials they feel most comfortable with writing (ex. Pad of paper, journal, notecards, laptop, pencils, pens, etc.)
Writers of all experience levels from first-time to veteran writers are welcome.
