Join us for Pokémon Play Lab Discovery, a hands-on, beginner-friendly event designed to teach new players of all ages how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Whether you're totally new to the game or just need a confidence boost before joining full matches, Play Lab is the perfect place to start!
What is Play Lab?
Play Lab is an instructional experience created to introduce new players to the Pokémon TCG in a fun, easy-to-understand way. Instead of diving into all the rules at once, our demonstrations break the game into simple, bite-sized steps. This approach keeps things engaging and ensures no one feels overwhelmed as they learn the basics.
The Pokémon Company International has run Play Lab on a large scale at major gaming conventions, and now—thanks to the official Play Lab Discovery kit—we’re bringing that same high-quality learning experience to our local community. These tools help Organizers guide players through their very first game in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

Come learn, play, and start your Pokémon adventure with confidence! Meet the local Pokémon Professors. There will be prize packs and free Pokémon decks for NEW PLAYERS that want to learn the Pokémon Trading Card Game. (Pokémon decks for new players that are learning to play the Pokémon Trading Card game only, while supplies last.)
