Join us on this beautiful holiday weekend, as we host the 2nd Annual Midwest Summer Classic Presented by Motion Raceworks! This exciting event will take place right here at Tri-State Raceway from August 29th through the 31st. Please see the information below for this weekend's tentative schedule. We are so excited to see everyone there!
On Friday, August 29th, we'll host a $40 open test and tune from 2pm to 4pm, followed by the first qualifying session at 4pm. During the test and tune, cars will be called to the lanes by the type of tree, and during the qualifying session, cars will be called to the lanes by class. If a racer entry is purchased for the weekend, racers are allowed to make one pass during the first qualifying session. Those who would like more than one pass must purchase a $40 test and tune tech card. Gates, tech, and parking will begin around 12pm.
On Saturday, August 30th, the gates will open at 7am, and one time trial session and qualifier #2 will begin around 8am. Eliminations will follow.
On Sunday, August 31st, the gates will open at 7am, and we'll begin one time trial/qualifying session at 8am. Eliminations will follow.
We're also extremely thrilled to welcome the Door Slammers Series to the property this weekend, as well as our Wright-Way Trailers Quick 16 class on Sunday.
Please do not park prior to organized parking times. We ask that you remain out of the pits unless a staff member has parked you. For this weekend's races, please be mindful and respectful of the reserved pit cones, and do not park in an area with a cone unless you have purchased that spot. Parking for the NHRA Lucas Oil Division 5 Regional 26th Annual Iowa Cornbelt Classic Driven by Bob McCosh Chevrolet will begin after the 2nd round of eliminations on Sunday.
