KONTRA ROOTS CLUB

This month's club features one of our most popular duos, plus two great acts who both made their club debuts last year and impressed so much I just had to get them back asap. They are:
STELLA HENSLEY & CHRIS NEWMAN – the annual visit of these great Kontra favourites, velvet vocalist Stella sings bluesy, soulful originals accompanied by Chris’s stunning blues, slide and ragtime guitar. We always have a great night with Stella and Chris!
JOE BAYLISS & MIKE SEAL – a speedy return visit for this acclaimed singer-songwriter who writes and performs from the soul. Joe’s mellow, thoughtful songs and subtle guitar are beautifully complemented by renowned double bass player, Mike Seal.
VINCE “TOO TALL” TAYLOR – another returnee who went down a storm on his debut last year. Easily our tallest ever act, “the first punk in West Somerset” sings witty originals and wacky covers. Highly entertaining!
