Axe and Paddle Battle Fire Department Kayak Race is coming up! Grab your paddle and join us for a day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition on the water.
Event Details:
📍 Where: Maverick County Lake, Launching from the pavilion
📅 Date: Saturday, August 30th
⏰ Time: Check-in opens at 7:00 AM, Race starts at 8:00 AM
🎟️ Cost: FREE!
This is a community event for everyone ages 13 and up! Whether you're a seasoned paddler or just looking for a new adventure, we want to see you there. Sign up day of or call (830) 773-1915 to register!
Important Info:
✔️ Bring Your Own Kayak and paddle.
✔️ A US Coast-Guard approved personal flotation device (PFD/life jacket) is REQUIRED to participate. Safety first!
✔️ Medals will be awarded to the winners of each age group category!
