The transition into menopause brings a variety of physical, energetic, mental, and emotional symptoms that make everyday life challenging and uncomfortable. Many women struggle with the changes occurring in their bodies and don’t feel like themselves. Menopause is a natural process, not a disease or condition, and it should be treated as such. Resources and therapies for menopause symptoms are lacking, and when we are out of balance, it may seem like there is no relief in sight. Fortunately, yoga offers tools and practices that address the symptoms of menopause and ease the transition.
In this monthly series, I invite women to come together in community and share the challenges we face in perimenopause and menopause. We will practice ancient yogic techniques that regulate the nervous system, balance the subtle (energetic) body, calm the mind, and promote balance and ease. Each session will include yoga asana, pranayama, mudra, mantra, guided meditation, and deep relaxation. Lynn will introduce yogic techniques to address many of the common symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, joint pain and stiffness, digestive disharmony, bloating/gas, and more. This series is appropriate for those in perimenopause or post-menopause who are seeking relief in a supportive, nourishing environment.
Cost is $40. Space is limited. Please pre-register to reserve your spot.
