Community Leadership 101 Workshop

The first installment of the Community Leadership 101 series will explore how you can get involved in Durango, what it’s really like to serve on a nonprofit board, and how to choose volunteer opportunities that align with your values. This interactive workshop is presented by Jenn Bartlett, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado.

Jenn will guide participants through the specifics of how a nonprofit board meeting runs, lead a values alignment exercise to help you discover volunteer opportunities that fit your passions, and show you where you can plug into the Durango community or a specific industry. This interactive workshop will be engaging, reflective, and practical — giving each participant tools to take action and make an impact.
