Robin is a proud local native, growing up in the Avoca and Pittston area. She graduated from Seton Catholic High School and, immediately after graduation, answered a higher calling by joining the United States Marine Corps. Robin served honorably in the Marines for 10 years, embodying strength, discipline, and resilience. After her service, she continued her education, graduating from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Robin is also a devoted mother to three wonderful children, who are her greatest source of pride and motivation. Together, they have built a life rooted in love, family, and faith. Many know Robin not only as a mother, Marine, and neighbor, but as someone who has always been ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, and give back to her community whenever possible.
In 2017, Robin faced her first battle with breast cancer. With incredible determination and the support of her loved ones, she overcame it and celebrated being cancer-free a year later. Unfortunately, in 2023, Robin received devastating news: a recurrence of breast cancer, this time in a more aggressive and difficult-to-treat form — Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
Since then, Robin has endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. While she continues to fight with the same courage that carried her through the Marines and her first battle with cancer, this journey has brought enormous medical and financial burdens. She is now exploring clinical trials in case her most recent treatments prove unsuccessful, holding on to faith and hope for a cure.
This fundraiser will help cover not only Robin’s current medical costs, but also the expenses of future treatments, clinical trials, travel for care, medications, and the bills that continue to accumulate while she is unable to work.
Your generosity — whether through attending the fundraiser, donating, sponsoring, or simply sharing her story — means more than words can express. With the strength of her community behind her, Robin can continue this fight with courage, hope, and the belief that brighter days are ahead.
