Join professional artist Diana Toma and twelve emerging talents as they unveil a collection of paintings inspired by their immersive tour of the Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee, Georgia! Art, like spirits, made to linger.
It all started with touring the distillery: twelve students and their art instructor wandering the space with curious eyes and open sketchbooks. “We walked in, curious. We left buzzing with ideas. Over the next five months, we gathered monthly - choosing reference photos, studying composition, learning new techniques, and encouraging each other every step of the way. Most of us had never been part of something like this before, and what emerged is raw, bold, and unexpected. We didn’t just paint. We distilled an experience, and poured it into every brushstroke.“
