This Old House: Sandy Springs History Through Architecture

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the incorporation of Sandy Springs as a city. This is a great opportunity to look back at our history through the lens of the oldest house in the area. The Mitchell-Tiller House was built in the early 1800s. Melissa Swindell, local historian, will bring the history of this house, it’s occupants and Sandy Springs to life in this talk. Through the history of this house, we get a rare glimpse into the changing face of our community over the years. Come join us for a fascinating look back in time! FREE! All are welcome.
