Friday Cruise:
On Friday Afternoon, Sept. 19, 2025, we will be doing a pre-show cruise for the 1st Annual Sequatchie Valley VW Rally.
We will all meet up at Long Restoration, depart from here at 4:00pm CST, and travel through town towards our destination at Rolling Oak Distillery.
Rolling Oak Distillery is Sequatchie County's first and only legal Moonshine Distillery. They have their Moonshine Distillery, and General Store all right there on site. We will tour their facility, do some moonshine tasting if you please, and do some shopping in their General Store so you can take a taste of Sequatchie County, Tennessee back to your home town.
The trip is 11 miles one way, and will take approximately 15-20 minutes each way.
We will be requesting assistance from our Dunlap Police Department to escort us through town so we don't have any breaks in our convoy.
Lucky 13 Transport will be on standby with rollback and trailer for towing assistance should any of us find ourselves in need of that service. Hopefully that won't be needed, but you never know.
Along the route, we will stop at the Sequatchie County Scenic Overlook for a photo op, and for everyone to see our beautiful valley from above. I will be enlisting the help of a photographer/videographer to join us and document our trip.
We will then travel back to town and meet up at a local establishment for food and drinks. That establishment is TBD, but it will be within 1-2 minutes from the event location.
Saturday Breakfast:
On Saturday Morning, Sept. 20, 2025, we will do another cruise to our local buffet, Anthony and Theresa's Homecookin', for their amazing breakfast buffet!
They open at 7:00am CST, and they're only about 3-4 minutes from the event, so those wanting to travel together, we will depart the Event Site at approximately 6:45am CST and travel to the buffet. Some of us have to eat early enough so we can get back to the show and work all day, LOL. We won't have a definite time for anyone to leave there, so you can feel free to stay there as long as you desire.
If you plan to attend either of these events, please comment and tell us which one, or both, so we can start getting a head count and know what resources will be needed.
