October Break Open Days - Apple theme

Rosyth Pupils, Mark the Dates!

Due to the typically changeable weather in October the EATS Educates Team decided to organise this year`s traditional October Break Events at the Centenary Orchard. Although these won`t be held at school grounds this time, at the orchard finding a shelter is easier and we can finish all the activities either indoor or outdoor regardless of the weather.

The October Break Events are themed and they are all about the transition from Summer to Autumn.

The first session on the 15th of October will be all about Apples. Some of the planned activities are:

Apple Tasting - multiple varieties and taste comparison
Talking about preserving apples
Cooking Apple sauce
Cooking Apple themed soup
Apple pressing and juicing
And many more…

The sessions will run from 10:30 a.m. till 12 p.m. after which we will provide some light lunch to the participants to close the busy morning. Both sessions are free, and every Rosyth Primary School pupil and their family is welcome.
